Dead Blazer
So it seems I'm having terrible luck with this Blazer only two weeks into ownership.
Here's the story. Front left speaker was not working so we checked the head unit and then took off the door panel to check the speaker itself. Turns out it was just a loose connection. In the process of diagnosing and testing, my battery died. We jumped the Blazer from a friend's Jetta and took it for a drive - no problems and it started up again unassisted after the drive.
After getting back to the house, my buddies were working on the faulty mirror on the drivers side. Again the idiots left everything on and the battery died once more. We tried jumping but this time it did not work. We checked out the battery and noticed it was showing age and the connectors were definitely a bit corroded.
I picked up a new battery and new connection bolts. I cleaned the connectors off and hooked everything up. Now the Blazer will not start - even with this new battery! She will turn over but no ignition.
Anyone have any ideas on what might have happened?

Thanks for the update and I hope that solves everything. The ICM generally fails when it gets hot, so normally it won't interfer with cold engine starts. I would not have put it on the list of suspects from what you said was happening, but it sure will intefer with spark (one of the 3 things I mentioned).
