Default desperate need of help replacing back door actuator

the back door and window on my 95 4x4 4 door blazer has been inactive for nearly two years. one day it just stopped working. the key will not work, nor will the switch release on the dash. I have bought a new actuator, but the latch on the door has a death grip on the hook on the window.
I've been cooking in the back of my truck for over an hour trying t press, pry and beg this latch to let go. nothing works.. If i didn't think id tear up something worse or break my window id use a tire iron to pry it open, can anyone help?

The posting noted above will give you instructions on how to get the rear door open. I have been in your place and did not have these instructions....it did not turn-out well!

Be patient and put a fan in the back with you.
