Exclamation Desperatley need help with vacumm hoses

I have a 2001 blazer LT 4X4 with the 4.3 vortec. Previously someone has removed all the vacumm lines under the hood. i have no clue what all they connect to and where they need to be routed. i would like some diagrams showing where they all connect to.

I'm no help on diagrams, but did they at least cap off the ports on the manifold?

I bet none of this will apply, since mine is a '95, and I'm sure they changed a bunch by '01, but maybe it'll help you get started...

Off the top of my head, you've got brake booster on the back of the intake, PCV from passenger valve cover to intake, PCV from driver valve cover to air ducting, mine has some weird vacuum reservoir on the hood that connects to the back of the manifold. Also, you've got from the evap solenoid to a port under the throttle body.

Since you have 4wd, there's all the stuff from the t-case, and the actuator under the battery tray. I'm not sure how all the HVAC stuff connects up under the dash, but I think it's vacuum, also.

no they did nothing but rip them out. The only hose still left in tact is from the actuator to the vacuum reservoir on the hood. I have fount this weird looking box underneath the radiator that seems it had two lines connecting to it at one time.

Under the radiator? I can't think of any vacuum under there. It's not the remote oil filter housing, is it?

I figured out that it is the secondary EVAP system underneath the radiator

Doesn't the FSM / factory service manual have the complete vacuum line diagrams?

calebjohnston: I suggest you find a kind Blazer owner that will let you spend some tine under the hood draw-up your own vacuum hose diagram as there are quite a few of them.

Leave a note on Blazers saying briefly what you need, perhaps offering them a soda or coffee while you make your drawing, take pictures, etc.

I could try taking pictures of my '02 but expect to lose needed details.
