Default Need help identifying hoses

I'm having a problem where my a/c and heater blows out of my defrost and floor vents. It started about 2 months ago, so I opened the hood and found a vacuum hose that had come apart. At the time, you could hear the air coming out of it. I went to my local Autozone, and the tech there told me to use some sealant and seal it up. I did that and it worked great for a few days (a/c blew out the panel vents, etc.). The other day it started blowing out of the defrost again. I checked the exact same hose which came apart again. Also, a second hose came off and now there isn't any air running out of the first hose like it used to. The problem is, is that I can't find a place for this second hose ANYWHERE.

Basically, I was wondering if anyone had any idea where the second hose is supposed to go. I attached the pictures of the hoses below. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like you have a '95 from the pictures. The vacuum line from the engine goes into a check valve / tee. From there, it will go to the vacuum ball on the hood and through the firewall to the hvac system. If your truck is 4wd, there will be another tee splitting a line off for the vacuum switch on the transfer case.

Thank you for the reply. If you look at the first picture, I traced the bottom one to the firewall, the right one goes in to the vacuum source, and you said the left one would go into the engine. Where at on the engine would I see this?

There should be a nipple in the back of the upper intake plenum pointing at the distributor.
