Camshaft position sensor data enables the PCM to compare variations in camshaft & crankshaft RPM when a cylinder fails to produce power. It does not affect ignition timing, provide data for the tachometer, or change the way the injectors are fired. Cylinder misfire detection and identification is all it does.

The fuel leak down and pressure tests will have to wait a bit. Ihad to get it towed and that wiped out my check this week.
I will be getting the distributor from Skip White performance I saw in this forum anyway. Probably doesn't hurt to have that.

I noticed no one mentioned the ECM.If the ECM is bad you will get a crank but no start also. It`s all about trial and error.Test the easier things first, then slowly move your way up to the harder things last.

That would do it!
Must have missed the pictures of the chewed up distributor drive...

I got a junkyard dist, and this particular yard put a 3 year, unlimited miles warranty on it.
Put it in the Bravada and it started and ran. I didn't get it dead on time, so I got p1345. But at least I'm about 99% done. I'll get it zeroed in tomorrow when it's light out.
Edit: done.
Finally got the timing set, no codes, runs smooth.
