Default different rear defrost question

Hello i have a 2000 2 door blazer, manual climate control. My blazer when i bought it did not have the button for rear defrost, got another unit from a donor and made sure everything works the light comes on for the rear defrost but when i had everything out and when i say everything i mean everything, i didnt see any wires coming to the rear of vehicle for the rear defrost.... where are the wires? Back of dash behind the climate control unit? Im taking it mine didnt come with it from the factory cause the back window was not the tinted glass but i did add the tinted glass. Just have to find those wires. Thank you for your help

If your truck didn't come with the defroster grid in the back window, the wiring may not be there...

Thank you for the quick reply. Why would it be getting power to the light on the a/c control? Ill take the unit out again and look. I know for sure im getting power there so is there anyway to wire it up in order for it to work to the rear? I have all the wiring minus from the middle...thought it would be easier than this to do....lol. I found a donor blazer i might be able to strip the wiring from it so it would all be factory.
