I dont mind the questions at all ,im glad youre try to help me. The idle will stay at 650 foot on the brake or off in n it will rise maybe to 700 .The problem seems to happen after driving around awhile in local traffic at about 30 the rpms want to stay at 1500 unless i brake and drop below 1000 it will rise to 1500 when i come off the gas . Im sorry if i dont make sense .Thanks for you help Jim

I think that the rpms, with your foot off of the gas and moving, are variable to the speed you are traveling. I agree with pettyfog though, check the PCV and BOTH elbows, you will want to physically pull them off though because cracks will often form on the insode of the elbows.
