Default distributor question

What are the symtoms of a faulty voltage switch/distributor?
I've had a problem with this for such a long time and replace so many different parts.
Even the dealer didn't know what they were doing.

Hopefully you guys have more insight...
thanks

What is the problems you are experiencing and what are the parts you have replaced? Also, what is it that you are driving (year would help greatly as there are differences in the '96-'05 blazer motors and controls)?

I have a late model '95 Blazer LT, 4.3w with central port F.I. Its ODB11/2 but uses ODB2 diagnostic equipment.
The engine has a bad miss, it's had a new computer installed by the dealer, new coil modular, new crank position sensor, new cam position sensor and erg cleaned and reinstalled.

Default RE: distributor question

I'd be checking fuel pressure aiming towards the fuel injector/spider. Could be wrong but....and of course in the case of misfires-it's lacking spark or fuel or air. Could be spark-where(if it's been awhile)if you have some miles on this Blazer, I'd tune it up. As previously stated-plugs, cap and rotor. Possible wires and a fuel filter. May not solve your problem but a good place to start and may even improve your MPG's. jp/ ps then check fuel pressure if issue persists.[X(]
