I guess I never updated this. So about a month ago I pulled the PCV and realized that it was too loose. So I got a new PCV valve and a grommet from Advance that was just way too tight. I trimmed it to fit and it was much more snug. Then I was getting random readings from no pending faults to all 3. So I ordered a new MAF and for the past few weeks I have had no codes and it runs much better. However my evap system DTC still hasn't gone into ready state and I have gone a few hundred miles and it has been a few weeks. Maybe I just need to wait longer.

Do you still getting any pending codes? I believe certain ones could prevent the evap emissions readiness test from running upon cold start. Below from P0442 description - I think this is probably the test that it does for emissions readiness (test for small leak). Also note that both IAT and ECT temps must be 39°-86° and nearly the same for this test to run. Might want to scan the temp sensors before starting the vehicle and make sure they are the same and that the readings make sense. Good luck and best wishes.

----------

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC

* No active MAP sensor DTCs
* No active TP sensor DTCs
* No active VS sensor DTCs
* No active O2 sensor DTCs
* No active ECT sensor DTCs
* No active IAT sensor DTCs
* DTC P0125 not active
* The fuel level is between 12.5-87 percent .
* The ECT is between 4°-30°C (39°-86°F) .
* The IAT is between 4°-30°C (39°-86°F) .
* The cold start temperature difference (ECT minus IAT) is less than. 1.5°C when the IAT is more than the ECT. 8°C when the ECT is more than the IAT.
* The BARO is more than 72 kPa .
* The change in fuel tank vacuum is less than 0.6 inches of H2O, or the change in fuel level is less than 8 percent .
* The throttle position is less than 75 percent .
* The vehicle speed is less than 65 MPH .
* The fuel tank vacuum level remains above a calibrated value for a specified number of seconds.

I have scanned for codes every time I drive it and so far it has had absolutely none. So maybe I just need some more drive times. With the price of gas and a really loud front bearing I have only gone a few miles at a time.
