I have a 2003 Blazer ls, and my dome lights wont shut off, also my radio turns off when i turned the truck off. where as it normals turns off when i open a door. I have read in previous past the its probally the door switch. is there anything else i can check before i go and attempt to find the faulty switch ie fuse. Also with the rear hatch is the that is bad would the gate agar light be on, on the dash. thanks for any help. also if it is the switch how easy are they to replace/check, also i just just went out to manully push the switch in on each door, and the light still stayed on, so im thinking its the rear latch switch.

 

I'm pretty sure it would be a switch. The gate agar light would be on if it was the rear hatch. Make sure there is nothing in the door blocking the switch on any of the doors and tripple check to make sure all the doors are shut.

 

it will either be one of the sensors for your doors that is either malfunctioning, or the actual stick like switch that sticks out to sense the doors being open or not has broken off, another possibility is with the dome like switch in the front, in the meantime you can hit your dome override, but with the interior lighting switch may also be malfuncitoning

 

I have / had the same problem with my 1997. At first, only the buzzer would go off when driving .... and then this past winter the lights would stay on even with the buzzer off or after I'd return home and lock it up, the lights would stay on but the buzzer off. Eventually I just pulled the fuse, but then you can't use the back hatch. For me, it was definitly the switch on the driver side dash.
