Well I just replaced the ignition switch in my 97 jimmy. I did not button everything because I wanted to test it first. All is fine except the chime or buzzer wont go off. It is continually on even when the door is closed and the key is out of the lock cylinder. The only time it goes out is after starting the truck, it will shut down after 15 seconds. Where did I go wrong?

Found the problem. I accidentally bumped the headlight switch DUH... Now its all good.
