hey guys sorry if i posted this in the right thread. wasnt sure if it belonged in the interior or general. butttt let me get to the point.

just purchased a 1995(might be a 96) blazer 4.3l v6 4wd for about 200$. it needs a fuel pump and some other things.

Im having trouble opening the drivers side door. i cant open it from the inside or outside. i got the panel off of it but cant seem to get it to budge even after fidgeting it. there is something in the latch mechanism that is a piece of plastic that is super loose and has a hole that a screw driver would fit into. i put it inside of the hole and moved it around and still couldnt get it to open at all.

also when i turn the key on my car it has that annoying beep that lets you know a door is open and i can only assume it has to do with the driver door off. any tips or tricks would be fantastic to help me open it lol
