Driver door hinge pin

Driver door hinge pin
Out doing errands this morning. Got out and closed the driver door behind me. Came back out opened door and could not close it, The upper pin and bushing that holds the hinge together totally let go with no warning. Managed to get it shut enough to drive to the shop. No parts until tomorrow. Drivers side is closed and locked and will stay that way until I get it to the shop tomorrow. Just hope there is no damage to the hinge/s themselves.
I replaced the pins and bushings myself about 6 years ago because of a sagging issue.
The hits just keep on coming folks

all done
thanks I appreciate the good thoughts. Shop just called. All done ready to be picked up. Took 1/3 the time he originally thought. Another bullet dodged. Until the next one

Remember a door hinge pin repair is less than one month of a new car or truck payment. Even if you have to replace a driver's side door hinge pin every six years, you are far ahead of a new car/truck payment. Ditto a water pump or fuel pump replacement.
