Driver side window make pop sound!!
My drivers side window when I power it up to the top it makes a pop. It does this all the time. Its more like a bang, like it topped out or something. Any way to fix this?? thanks.
that happened on my driver side. it was the rivets that hold that motor bracket. pull your door panel off and move the window up and down you will see it flex alittle and thats the poping noise just knock out the rivets and put some bolts in its a easy and cheep fix
The same thing was happening with my blazer, however I didn't do anything about it, and eventually the window regulator decided one day it was just going to completely seperate itself from my window.
$50 later I have a new window regulator coming in tomorrow morning to be installed in the afternoon. I suggest you do the former and beat out the rivets and put in good 'ole bolts

Just replaced my regulator, so I'll add in on this thread.
On my blazer (96 ls) not too sure if it's the same, but there's a little plastic piece in the door handle I had to remove with two screws holding it in, then remove the stupid little door lock piece (it's late and im drawing a blank lol) which is another screw, but easy to remove nonetheless.
After that its just pull the panel til it releases and lift off the door, making sure to remove the switch panel which just slid through the hole in the panel.
After that, and we got the new regulator in (on the 3rd attempt lol) we threw some 1/4" bolts in to hold it in. When mine broke it did damage the holes in the door a bit so I threw some washers on the other side just to give it a bit of added support, and used a locknut on the other side.
