Default drivers side power window :/

Ok so I got the door panel and water shield and all that good stuff off. Then I drilled out the rivits and started pulling on the motor, couldn't get it out and ran out of time and had to leave. So I get on here last night and find out that the spring could cut my fingers/hand off. So basically I know now that the regulator has to come out but how do you disconnect the arm from the window sash thing? I'm confused and now scared to do this seeing as how I have a ticking time bomb in my door lol.

That is unfortunate... Can you drill a hole through the regulator now to lock it into place?

As far as how to get it out of the channel on the bottom of the window, you have to move the regulator front to back to get the rollers into the openings either at the front/back of the channel or in the middle.

I don't know. What do I drill through... I know you drill through the regulator but to hold it in place i need to drill through like the bottom of the arm right?

You have to drill through two portions of the regulator that either normally move opposite each other (the two arms) or from one arm to a stationary portion of the regulator frame. This will lock the regulator in position so that you can remove the motor.
