Driver's wiper not wiping.

Driver side wiper misses the top and left side. I switched with the passenger side with no luck. Bought another set (Bosch) and same problem. Probably I should have tried a different brand.
Has anyone tried bending the blade to get better contact? Worried that if I get it better on the top the middle will go bad. Gotta do something though!

Yep, bend the wiper arm so that it pushes the blades onto the windshield a bit more. Also had to do this to my driver's side wiper arm....hmmmm....perhaps something wrong in the design?....no can't be....that never happens.....

Gave it a few bends and that did improve performance at the top. Still doesn't wipe all the way on the side though.
I guess as long as nobody is coming at me from the driver's side at a 45 degree angle on a rainy day.... I'll be okay.

LeWhite and Lanny, now there's three of us.
The arm was coming out of the spline assembly at a too-high angle and was not putting enough pressure on the blade. The blade was just barely touching the glass. So a pair of pliers and Voila! I bet the wipe has been like that since it rolled off the assembly line.
Later: the pliers fix what hit or miss. Finally I broke down and bought a new arm from Rockauto, like $15. Easy off and on!
