DRL Module
Does anyone know the location of the DRL module on an 04 Blazer? Still trying to hook up driving lights to come on with high beams only. Thinking I can tap into high beam indicator lead coming from DRL module. Thanks for any info.
Also, are the DRL supposed to be on during all daytime driving? I had to have my cousin follow me today, in my Jimmy, and I noticed that they didn't come on, until he'd driven for about a 1/2 mile. They're not supposed to do that, right? If so, how would I fix it?
No, that doesn't sound right. They should come on when you put it in drive and release the parking brake. Wouldn't have a clue how to fix that. It was so much simpler when you pulled a **** on the dash to turn your lights on and had a dimmer switch on the floor. Guess I'm showing my age.
i have a question. I have a 1999 Blazer Ls 4dr and i dont want the DRL ( Day Time Running Lights ) On while im driving. I want to make it so that i can control my lights manually. What is the best way to make it so i can control them manually. Any comments/ or tips will help, thanks

Here is an excellent writeup on how to disable the DRL's on our vehicles.
