Default Dumb seat question

So, for a year and a half, I've been trying to sell the leather seats from my 98 4door, 4WD, Jimmy(totalled[rear ended] by a drunk driver). Anyway, this guy wants to buy them, if they'll fit his -1998 ZR2-.
Does anyone know if they will fit?
THANKS.

The problem with 4-door seats is that there is no swing lever to let the seat flip forward and slide up in one motion. So it will be tricky for him to get to his back seat if he were to install your front seats. The backseats will not fit, as 2-door blazers only have 2 seats back there, you have a 60/40 3-seat bench

short answer, yes the front ones will work, but he would probably rather have 2-door seats!

If he's ambitious enough about it, he can take apart the seats and install the hinge from the 2 door seats with the swing lever and front track, but that's a lot of work. It would be easier to use seats from a wrecked f-body or something similar.

Yepppp. Taymacjack did it with some nice leather seats in his 2-door Jimmy. I dont see why the 2-door folks even need a backseat. If they had any friends, theyd have gotten a 4-door in the first place

Yeah, you can dismantle the seat from the track and at least use the front seats. The back seats are completely different and would not be able to be changed over.

how do you remove the seats from the tracks? I have looked at the 2door seats, they do not have the same frames (they do not appear to be the same bolt pattern from the 2 door to the 4 door)? i have the chance to get a nice power driver's seat matching, but it's from a 2 door to a 4 door. anybody know?
