My first post here, I’ve been on the S10 forum for years, and thought I’d come over and ask some of the guys here for some advice. I plan on replacing the knock sensor on my 2003 4.3. I’m hoping someone who had done this job could help out with a little guidance. The only thing I’ve found so far on the web regarding instructions is to remove the distributor and the fuel lines and possibly oil pressure sensor to get to the knock sensor.
Removing the fuel lines not a big deal, but after setting up my distributor cam retard I’d rather not move it again if I can help it.
Has anyone gotten a crowfoot or small socket on there and gotten it removed without taking everything else apart?
