Default Edelbrok Manifold

Will this do anything that is worth buying? Does anyone have one?

Instructions says it will not fit egr systems. Can this be bypassed?

Edelbrock says:
EGR SYSTEM:
This manifold will not accept stock EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) equipment. Not legal on pollution controlled
motor vehicles.
MANIFOLD
: This manifold will not accept any O.E.M. carburetor systems. We suggest you use the carburetor listed in
the carburetor recommendations. This manifold was designed for street rod, off-road and marine applications.

If you're planning on using the truck on the street, the answer is pretty clear - NO. This is designed for off-road and track use only with suitable engine set-up. BTW, you've been gone a long time.

After going through their catalog, I just don't see anything that is designed for your engine to be used on the street.

for that to work on your truck youre going to have to get a EGR block off plate to start with. i dont know how much computer/electrical work youll have to do. you will also need to convert to a carb insted of fuel injection.

That manifold does not even have EGR provisions. Will it bolt on. Sure.

Getting it working with the rest of your truck... Good luck. What are you hoping to gain by using this?

Many people use this intake and modify it with fuel injector bungs and a throttle body for running turbo applications. Unless you are going this route, I wouldn't bother messing around with it.

BTW, Welcome back!
