Default egr????

My blazer has thrown an EGR code along with an MAF signal out of range. Anyone have an easy (possible) solution for these. My EGR was sticking 100%, and MAF showed 24,000 over normal...im confused!!!

well your EGR is held on with 2 10mm bolts. use a long extension with a swivel joint and you can pull it right out. spray it liberally with cleaner and scrub with a toothbrush and it shoiuld unstick pretty easily. when you replace it use a new gasket, but spend the extra money and get the one with the screen in it.

as to the MAF out of range... i aint got a clue. Sorry.

LOL. that was my thought on the MAF. Still acting up. I got the EGR issue fixed, so thats one problem down. Now I just have to replace the battery, coil and Distributor cap and rotor. And my work schedual doesn't seem to give time for repairing my truck...

maf cleaner or isopropyl alcohol & Q tips over the very fine wires. There's a DIY for it I think. Search it up!

Thanks everyone. Sorry about the delayed response. Been out beating my head in the rig for a few months. Now the Suburban died. MAF is reading in range now after a tedious, yet through cleaning
