Default EGR Tube (pipe) compatibility

I have a 99 Chevy Blazer 4x4 with stock 4.3 liter. Broke the EGR pipe badly. Does anybody know if the tubes off a 5.7 liter, like a Suburban or pickup would work? Thanks in advance.

Doubtful. The v8 is longer requiring a longer tube.

Yeah, you're right. They are a bit too long, and I don't think the same on the end, or maybe just a different adapter on the manifold end. I love my Blazer but parts and labor sucks. I lucked out though, and someone wrecked a Blazer the day after I checked, unsuccessfully for one, so there it was, front clip cut off, exhaust parts exposed, untouched looking beautiful. Now that all that's solved, I've dropped a small piece of busted plastic from a wiring harness through to the crankcase. Lovely, since a magnet is a nogo and I'm not sure where it stopped. The oil pan takes about six hours, if everything comes off okay. Is there room through the front timing cover to see in there, assuming I could pull it back far enough without lowering the oil pan first? Anybody??? Can't remember the last time I had so much trouble with a damn head gasket.
