Default Emergency Brake

I just bought a '98 chevy blazer, the dealer repaired the emergency brake line, and it works fine.. however when I pull the lever to disengage the e-brake.. it doesn't automatically return to it's orignal position, I have to pullon it.(meaning the brake doesn't snap back into its original position) Any easy fixes for this that anybody knows of? or should I just bite the maintenance fee. any input is much appreciated!

Default RE: Emergency Brake

Not sure if you still need this info. Post notifications were down when you posted this thread. Sounds like either a weak return spring or an improperly adjusted parking brake indicator switch.
