Default Engine Mount Changes S-series

I went thru Motor Mount H___ changing the engine mounts in my S-10 (more or les same as Blazer) because I didnt have a cherry picker or space to use it.

I made a lifting fixture out of a 2X6 and black gas pipe that was JUST enough to lift the engine and get at the bolts. It was insanely difficult, but possible.

I posted a longer topic with pictures over on the S-10 forum.

I changed out my passenger side motor mount. I had to unbolt the transmission mount in order to get the space I needed. I also had to buy a flex head, ratcheting combination wrench just to get at the bolts that go to the block.

That one is in compression (engine block torque pushes DOWN on it). the DS is the one that breaks and lifts. Id be surprised if the DS one is any good.

Yes, its **** near impossible without special tools.
