Wondering about moving a 97 blazer side mount distributer motor into a 95 blazer also with a side mounter--any knowledge on the interchangeability out there??

 

While the distributors are the same, the rest of the engine is very much different. You could use the block & rotating assembly, but you would need to swap the heads on up from your current motor.

 

Thanx so much--You were correct- heads and intake from a 94' and an aluminum panned 97' fit perfect with very slight mods' to the tranny converter cover. Just zipped off the lip near the oil pan side and it slid right in...Thanks for the info!!
