Cool Failed Gas Pressure Leak Down Test

Hi Blazer Forum

I have a 2000 Blazer ZR 1 it recently had both CAT'S fail and replaced. I have been getting error codes - 0172, 0175 & 0300. Left & Right bank running rich & general misfire. So I ran a Leak down test on the fuel rail. and it failed badly. It jumped up to 60 PSI held for about 5 seconds and dropped to 0 quickly. So I am thinking it has to be stuck injectors or leaking hoses or regulator.

I am going too pull the injectors and pressurize the fuel system and see if I can spot the problem. A spider goes for 300+, each injector goes about 70-80 or should I clean injector and replace seals, more work but alot cheaper.

It runs good, idles rough and hard 2 start when its hot, gas mileage is about 15 to 18 highway.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, you were all very helpful last time, will post back with results.

I would do the MFI upgrade. Eliminate poppets and everything is brand new. I just did this on my 2000 GMC Jimmy. See the link below:
