2002 4.3 blazer are the threads on the front of the water pump left hand or right hand for the fan clutch??

 

I think i found my answer!!!!!

 

standing in front of vehicle, looking at fan. turn towards passenger side(regular right hand thread, turn left to loosen). sometimes it can be a pain.i had to smack the wrench with a hammer to get mine to break loose.i took mine off and put on dual electric fans. i noticed a differance right away.i hope this helps you.

 

Where did you get teh dual fans from?

 

Thank you to everyone who helped in the info about the fan clutch on my 2002 xtreme .. its been done for about a week or sonow. Ive just been real busy to say thanks to all... Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah to all....

 

sorry hanr3, i forgot all about this thread. but to answer your question, i baught two electrics (from local parts store) put them on side by side, under my stock fan shroud, and wired them in together with an adjustable thermostat, so that they both turn on at the same time. now that i have been seing how people wire up theres to work with a/c, i might rewire mine. once again sorry about the late answer, i wasnt ignoreing you, just was not aware of your question.
