filling radiator
hi all....i just replaced the radiator on my 96 blazer lt 4x4 and still have air in the system cause i can can hear anti-freeze sloshing around in the heater core. somewhere in this forum i read a post with a good explanation on how to re-fill the cooling system, now i can't find it....any help with a link to it or a re-post on it would be appreciated...thanks

RE: filling radiator
Raise the truck's front end with the passenger side slightly higher than than the driver's. With the radiator cap off, let the engine run until it reaches operating temperature and watch the coolant level drop in the radiator. As it lowers, add coolant until it stops needing it. That should do it.

Werd!
It would be nice if GM would do like they did with the LT1's on the Fbodies and put a bleeder valve on the coolant line at the highest part of the system in all of their cars.

RE: filling radiator
Mine has a bleeder valve. I can't remember right now if it's on top of the thermostat housing or on a fitting coming off of the intake manifold, but it's right there close to the thermostat housing.
