Default Filling The Rear Diff

Random question for you...
How do you fill the rear differential?

I had to replace the diff cover gasket, and can't figure out how to fill it...

Help?
Thanks!

The first picture shows the fill plug on the passenger`s side of the housing.

Drain plug - my 3/8" to 1/2" adapter fit perfectly into the square.
You may need a longer tube to be able to refill the diff. Either that or buy 3 quarts and just tilt each one up as far as you can because you will not be able to tilt them all the way. You will have a little left over in the first two, just pour it into the third and fill until the fluid level is just below the fill hole (test it with a finger).

I know people that have used the sandwich bag approach fill up the bag with the oil and put it in the housing, the gears will tear the bag and release the oil
