Default finally the head gasket is blown new car here i come =(

so i made a post a couple days ago saying my head gasket blew... sure enough lucky me it was the thermostat so i fixed it 85 dollars and it was fixed... tonight though im driving home from work and m truck begins smokking at redlights and over heating and losing gasoline very quickly..
i get to my friends house and we look at it and yup the heas gasket is offically gone.. which sucks because this truck was cheap car insurance and no car payment but along with the head gasket needing replacement so does the fuel injector so i cannot invest any more money in it i am DONE.

question though is what can i do with the truck? i cant sell it in this condition .. so what can i do with it salvation army junk yard idk.. i wanna do a part out because i have a brand new stereo i have brand new bilstein shocks in the front and rear hids a intake like i would do a part out but im not sure what i can do

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cos2G...er_profilepage

btw thats a vieo of the truck check it out

if you give me your shocks for free i will help you decide what to do with it.
hell ill even pay the shipping.
lol.

besides the smoke, why do you say its the headgasket?
how is the coolant?
how is the oil?

also i remember reading somewhere the head gasket is easy on this truck to do yourself...or maybe it was stupid impossible... but its one of the 2.
im sure someone else on here has done it and can give you direction if you wish to tackle this.

smells like gas i dont think is a symptom of headgasket.
what does the oil look like?
fill the rad with water, fire it up and see where it comes out. there is a good chance you are leaking coolant onto the block which is making it burn off causing the smoke.
if your oil and coolant had not mixed your head gasket is probably fine.
you will be able to tell if it looks like milk.
not driving over 45 is a symptom of "limp home mode" its a safe feature to get your truck over to the side of the road and minimize damage. scan that code and see what it is.
do not drive it like this if it can be avoided.

if the truck is in good shape body wise you might be able to sell it for 3-400 bucks or maybe more. at my job we had i think it was a 2001 with a rod knock. someone paid 800 for it. said they were gonna put a motor into it.
