Question Finding Correct Lower Control Arms - 2000 Blazer

My S10 Blazer is a 2000 2 door, 4WD, 5 speed manual, LS, non-ZR2 model (Z85 suspension).

I want to replace the lower control arms but during my research found that Moog doesn't offer LCAs for the 2000 & older S10 Blazers, only 2001 & forward.

Looking at a GM parts reseller I found that they do indeed have different part numbers -

2000 Blazer

  • Left Upper 15661507
  • Right Upper 15661508
  • Left Lower 15777767
  • Right Lower 15777768

2001 Blazer

  • Left Upper 15661507
  • Right Upper 15661508
  • Left Lower 15293528
  • Right Lower 15293527
As you can see, the upper control arms are the same parts but the lowers have different part numbers.

What I'm wondering is if the LCAs that fit the 2001 & newer models will fit the earlier (1996- 2000) Blazers....can there really be that much of a difference?

Have you tried Rockauto.com? Look under the suspension section. They list quite a few manufacturers including Moog.

I've looked at Rock Auto and Moog, no go.

The question remains though....are the lower control arms the same?
