95 jimmy 4.3vortec ac rattle
I do have to repair the blower door because the ac is bloweing out the floor vents mostly...but that that will have to wait till I take the time to get to the actuator behind the glove box🤔
question is, I have the ac pump that rattles when on...it still is putting out cold air, but checking the clutch clearance, it's 40k and I think it supposed to be 30k when off???....is that my rattle sound?....should it be replaced, or will it just fail on its own someday....then let me buy 80buck replace clutch, ?
i had her since new...and the ac pump/dryer/dipstick etc was replaced 10yr ago.....rattled from the beginning....but worked....I'm now at the age where I can tinker with it IF needed......
thoughts?

Done the spider, door pins, trans case seal, and fuel pump��....and yup, second compressor....I'm at 240k.....still tight motor...no cancer yet on the body...so, cheaper to fix than a new car pymt....and dang cheaper to diagnose AND fix than the new junk....��
