Default Fit a third seat belt in the rear bench?

My 98 just came with two seat belts in the rear, and is registered as a 4 seater.
However, I've seen quite a few pics of other Blazers with 3 seat belts in the rear bench, making them a 5 seater. Could one just retrofit a center seat belt, or aren't these cars pre-equipped with holes/nuts to attach it?

If anyone has the center seat belts, maybe they could be so kind an post a couple pics of how it's attached to the chassie?

my 98 has the exact same thing as Thager posted in his pics (just with cloth seats). Hit your local pick-a-part and yank the center belt set up from a donor!

Thanks a lot guys, just the kind of picture I was looking for. It doesn't seem like there's a cut-out for the center seat belt? it's just stuffed between the seat and seat back?

It depends if you have a 2 door or a 4 door. 4 doors seat five, 2 doors seat 4. Please correct me if I am wrong, but that was my understanding.

I've got a 4 door. Actually, both my 4-door Blazers (94 and 98) are 4-seaters.

They all might as well be four seaters, lol. That middle seat is practically useless!

I get a lot of use out of the middle seat hauling my daughter and her friends around. She rides shotgun and three of her whiny, annoying teenage friends ride on the back seat.

It's remarkable how narrow space they managed to squeeze out of such a large car.
Even a civic has more room for 3 passengers in the rear seat..

My girlfriend does however need the middle seat when she drives the kids at school to various events.
