Freeze Plugs

Default Freeze Plugs

On a 4.3 gm how many coolant freeze plugs are there.

Don't know about freeze plugs, but I know ALL about the block drain plugs.

I've heard stories of them breaking. That's why I didn't touch mine when I was flushing my cooling system. Did Yours break?

freeze plug kits sold at Oriellys and Rockauto have 8 - prob two in the front of the block, two down each side and two in the back of the engine under the flywheel

Default freeze plugs 2003 blazer gm 3.4 liter

I have seen a number of answers and just want the truth so I can remove and replace them on the side of the block so can someone tell me are they behind the starter,motor mount and how many is there on the side of the block I have one looks pretty easy to get to in front by oil filter but were else are they.
