browsing rock auto parts (never used them before, found them on this site) I've came a crossed a wide selection of price ranges for ball joints. is a 50-60 dollar ball joint really that much better then a 20-30 dollar ball joint?

its not really a money thing its just they have ball joints from 6-70 dollars, just wondering if i could save some money here.

oh and RAYBESTOS also has ball joints for rwd (cheaper) and 4wd (expensive) I'm guessing the rwd ball joints will work in a 4wd vehicle, however the 4wd ball joints are stronger and made for off roading?

First of all you get what you pay for cheap price means cheap part second 4wd and 2wd lower ball joints are completely different ball joints they cannot be interchanged as far as the upper goes it MAY work, but if money isn't an object your best purchase will be the ball joints with a lifetime warranty they are know to wear excessively in these vehicles

Lifetime warranty doesn't necessarily mean it's a quality part. When it comes to suspension and steering parts, use Moog. They are the best, and last the longest. You will not find a better quality part at any price. Keep front chassis ride height and wheel alignment within specs, and lube each grease fitting every 3K miles.

Moog is the only lifetime warranty product here in Canada everyone else only gives you 1 year

I bought cheap ball joints from rockauto.com for my Lincoln and there working good, never had a problem with them. I buy from rockauto.com whenever I can.

You can get buy with cheap stuff on fords cuz their tolerances are so big. When you get a quality vehicle, like a Blazer, you need to put good stuff in it
