Default front end rebuild

Ok so the time has come for me to replace a few things on the front of my blazer..... the shocks are worn and the control arm bushings are fairly nasty looking. What should I replace at the same time.....I figured TRE's and ball joints any way....but is there anything else i should get while I'm in there?.....oh and also what is a good riding shock?......oh and BTW it's a 1996 2wd S-10 Blazer....4.3 w....
