Ok here we go again...got a 2000 4x4 4dr just recently changed the whole abs system master cylinder because front brakes were engaging when hot......now anything below 70 mph does fine around town get on the highway 70+ they get hot and its starts to wobble until I pull over let cool then keep under 70 and does fine...is this a abs issue

Any chance you lost a wheel balance weight and the problems are not related?

Do both wheels heat up, any heat up before wobble or just after. Hands of wheel at say fifty does it track true.

Yes both heat up before and after....after the wobble I noticed the brakes are really touchy just a slight tap and it wants to lock up but soon as it cools down not so touchy...havent changed calipers yet someone told me that if they release when cool theyare working fine have changed everything but front calipers and rotors I was trying to avoid spending anything till I solved the sticky brake situation

im thinking wheel balance issue/alignment and for the brakes heating up seized calipers.

If the front brakes got REALLY HOT could they warp the rim

i cant say its not possible because i have seen that happen on transit buses, but that was a complete brake melt down failure. the rim/wheel may have hit something and is bent. if you think your brakes are over heating get a laser temp gun and go for a good drive stopping and checking the brake temp as you go.

Just replaced calipers (cant hurt) fixing to bleed then drive.....noticed the rotor was really loose on the drivers side in comparison to the passenger side...looks like its missing the little retaining clips that hold the rotors on would that cause an issue
