That's what I'm hoping...


From reading the manual, is it really required to remove the entire distributor to replace the manifold gaskets?

Finally got my baby back on the road!!!


With my work schedule, I had no time to work on her, so I found a mobile mechanic on CL. what an ordeal..... He came by, replaced the manifold gaskets and injector assembly. Couldn't get it to turn over....He said the distributor was bad...Got a new distributor...didn't get it adjusted right...Finally came back with a friend of his and got it adjusted right.


She blew a lot of smoke at first and I was praying that it wasn't the head gasket. After a couple of miles, stopped smoking and she good as new!!!
