Default Fuel filler neck lower hose

So I had a pretty good leak when I would fill up on gas. I figured the neck had broken because it had been hit on that side some time before I owned it. So I bought a new neck.
As soon as I took the plastic shield off I could see the problem. Where the big hose connects to the tank, it had a cut on the bottom where the clamp was over tightened, or possibly just worn out. A lot of bad language later and I managed to wrestle it off. I noticed that there were no markings on it and that it appeared to have been ill fitting to begin with due to how it was kinked in the middle. I'm thinking someone used radiator hose here. I don't think you're supposed to do that.
So I went to all the usual box stores and none of them have this part in their system. Wtf?? Wound up buying a radiator hose and cutting off what I needed. Folks, I tried and tried but was never able to get those hoses back on there. I think I'm going to have to actually connect the filler neck to the tank and then feed the neck up through there because it doesn't seem possible to do it any other way.
This is a 2 door 2wd, btw. 02 model.
Anyone else done this?
Am I doing it right?

So this reminded me that someone posted some information on this. I've since found it and saved a pdf of the thread for my future reference.

Here's the thread: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...-source-95490/

And here is a vendor you might find useful: https://www.fillernecksupply.com/sea...ection=product

Hope this helps and Thanks to LannyL81 for the original post!

Got it! Unfortunately I'm gonna have to make do with pieces of radiator hose until the real deal gets here. Thanks!!

You're welcome. I'll be interested to hear how well the replacement hose fits.

I decided it was far too difficult a job to do it twice, so I've left it alone until parts get here.
The pieces got here today.
Will be installing them Sunday even if there are hurricanes and sharknados.
Here is the small one. Apparently SAE 30R7 is the type of rubber you use with fuel delivery. I could have probably gotten these pieces cheaper elsewhere
if I had known that.

I'm sure you already know, but the big hose is supposed to go one way, however if it's put on backwards it'll still work.....ask me how I know lol.

I tend to do my first steps to a store with agricultural machinery and tractor parts.
Recently I've been asking of a 2" diameter fuel hose (I made a body lift so I have to extend the filler neck) and they had it. A price of $20 per meter, I bough 0.2m
The fuel pipes are pricey. A non-suitable ones are significantly cheaper.

If the hose clamps are metric, you'll have to use the metric screwdriver too.
