Default fuel injection problems

Head gasket blew... got my friend, very experienced, we tore it down and replaced it. Put everything back... and fuel is dumping into the cylinders.
Went inside to the spider injectors..cannot pull them out of the manifold. Changed the pressure regulator...put it back together, still same issue. Any sugestions .. I am stumped!! Its a 04 blazer 4.3 Thanks

Are all cylinders getting flooded with fuel?

The injector lines can be pulled from the lower intake, it just takes some care.

Have you tried reinstalling the lines with the upper plenum off to see if you can pinpoint the source of the leak? Maybe one of the o-rings where the lines enter the injector body has gone bad?
