Default Fuel Line Question

I was having a problem with a slight fuel odor. Today, I think I found what my problem is. I looked all over the fuel tank for leaks and I found a plastic part, something like a t shape but round in the center. I need to know what the part is called. It is at the end of the middle fuel line coming out of the fuel pump. The middle line(from the pump) goes into this plastic part and then it has a line goes to the front, and one go to the back of the car, hence the t-shape. It looks like a piece is missing from it.It looks like to bottom part is missing because I can stick my finger in it and it feels wet and I can see the inside of the 3 lines connected to it. Does anyone now what piece I am talking about. If so, what is the name of it. Thanks

Default RE: Fuel Line Question

I don't have a camera to take a picture of the part. The middle line from the fuel pump goes into the piece. It is like a junction or something. I can't find a picture of the part anywhere. It is the only plastic piece visable down there. It is connected to the middle line on the fuel pump and then it breaks into 2 other directions (front and back). It is white plastic.

Default RE: Fuel Line Question

Sounds like the Evaporative Fuel Vapor system fitting. There is a purge solenoid on the back of the intake upper plenum, this pulls a vacuum to test the Evaporative Emissions System. If any part fails it will set a pending code in the computer. The plastic T-fitting is like a vacuum line to the Evaporative Emissions Canister, fuel tank then the upper intake manifold. As long as there is no hole in the fitting then I would not worry to much about it...

It's missing the bottom half of it. I can see the inside of the three hoses from the bottom of this fitting.

Default RE: Fuel Line Question (pic added) please help

I have finally uploaded a pic of the part I need. I went to two dealerships and they couldn't identify the part. Please someone, help me. It is the plastic white part in the left upper corner. It has 3 lines attached1. Going to the middle line on the fuel pump. 2. Going to the charcoal canister at the rear of the truck. 3. the last line connected to it goes to the front of the truck. Please help. That is why car is still smelling like gas. No liquid leaks just vapor leaks.
