Default Fuel Pipe Rust

So i was looking around under the truck checking my lines for cracks or any unusual stuff because i have a P0440 am trying to figur out. so as i looked at the big pipe for the gas drain its really rusted chipping away i looks like i could squeeze it with my hand and break it. I looked around rockauto and other stores and cant find this pipe. Is this normal of the rust corrosion there. Is it possible that theres a couple of holes on the pipe there that am not maintaining a good seal that its gives me my P0440 Code? Thanks

That is very possible. You may have to get this part from the dealer, but have a look at LMCTruck.com first.

Am going to check the can and see if theres any fuel in there. How many vent solenoids we have. is the one your talking about under the spare tire the square box or the one on top of the gas tank? I might just take it to a shop so they could tell me which is the problem and then change it my self unless they do it for cheap.
