No heat =(
Hey guys. I've got a little bit of a problem, well, a moderate problem as its 15 degrees outside.
I don't get any heat when I turn it on.
-There is pressure in the lines going to the heater core, the fluid in the lines does get warm.
-Temperature gauge never reads over 170 degrees even after driving all day.
-Coolant is at acceptable level
Any help would be great. Thanks.

I just fix my heat. Both of the lines to the heater core got warm but not hot. I first blow air through the lines both ways and at first very little stream of dirty water came out and then a big blob of muck came out now the two line get really hot and i have heat. i did a flush today of all the antifrezz just to have everything cleaned inside. Hope that help.
i dont see how you guys live like that. i was just outside at 9:45pm in shorts and a t-shirt and very comfortable
ok im going to stop rubbing it in now LOL

Anyway, thanks guys, I'll try to flush those lines tomorrow.
If that doesn't work, is it possible that the thermostat is stuck open and thats why I can't get up to operating temp? Now that its colder outside, the temp gauge doesn't even pass 150
Since you are doing the flush anyway you can change the the thermostat anyway its only like 3 bucks. It seems like you whould have some heat at least if it was at 150 though, but cheap insurance since you will already have the system open to swap it out.
i understand that....i take a trip once a year up north to go snowboarding. nice place to visit for a week, i couldnt do it year round though.
