(Fuel pressure issue) First post ever

I did a leak down test from the Schrader valve and here are my results.
When I hooked up the jumper wire the pressure stabilized at 60 Psi
I waited 10 minuets and in that 10 minuets I waited it was down to 50 Psi
It dropped to 57 psi after I removed the jumper wire
I noticed it went down to 54 psi 4 minuets in
I noticed it was at 52 psi 8 minuets in
Then I noticed it was at 50-51 psi after the full 10 minuets was up

Got a job and didn't have time to do the test but finally got it done.
I did a leak down test from the fuel filter outlet and here are my results.
When I hooked up the jumper wire the pressure stabilized at 85 Psi
I checked the gauge at the half way mark (5 min) was down to 54 psi
In that 10 minuets I waited it was down to 68 psi

Oh man, yah that doesn't make sense. I made a mistake, I looked at my journal where I wrote down the test results and the pressure stabilized at 85 psi. The half way mark (5min) was at 75 psi not 54. The full 10 min wait it was down to 68 psi. Sorry for the mistake.

No problem, "stuff" happens
The numbers at the filter are within specs. Provided there are no external leaks from the lines going to the fuel metering block, it means the leakdown to 50psi in post #22, is inside the plenum. Not a serious leak, but enough to cause a problem.

Ok, thank you very much for your help Captain Hook. I will take a look the plenum to see if I see any clean spots near the fuel regulator and near the spider injection nozzles and replace what appears to be leaking.

If you have a problem with the injectors or injector nozzles, I definitely recommend replacing the whole spider assembly with the updated multiport fuel injection assembly by delphi or acdelco. Had a leak and replaced it on mine and noticed smoother idle and smoother acceleration plus a little better gas milage. New assembly comes with the fuel regulator. Look at rockauto.com for it, very good prices compared to other places.
