Default Fuel Pressure Regulator Spraying Fuel

I have a 95 GMC Jimmy that broke down last night that was obviously due to a ton of fuel being dumped into the intake. I took the top of the intake off and the regulator is spraying fuel “full stream” out of the hole that’s open to vacuum. Threw on a new regulator and the same problem. Threw on a spare injector with a different regulator and same problem. Seems like the fuel can’t return to the tank and it’s building pressure. Any ideas what’s wrong? It’s the central port injector setup.

I never heard of a return line being blocked but there can be a first time for everything.

I'm afraid I am not much help with this but msybe someone else can offer some advice on how to diagnose the problem.

Default Reg spraying fuel

I have an 02 blazer that the fuel pressure was over 100 psi and flooding engine with fuel. Rubber hose at fuel tank had twisted and blocked line. Straightened hose and fuel pressure came back to normal.

What's your fuel pressure at the rail?

Thats the key, pressures approaching 100 psi at the shrader indicate a blocked return line. Where was the blockage and how did you clear it?

Default 2nd gen 02 blazer fuel pressure too high. Over 100 psi.

The rubber return hose back at the fuel tank( on outside of tank) was twisted over causing blockage. Pulled line loose and straightened it out and slid it back on. That is all. Put it on a lift and looked on top of tank and that's all it was . Nothing inside blocking rubber hose. The metal lines are real close to transmission and could easily get mashed when changing transmission. Good luck
