FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR. where is it.

You have either a (CMFI) or (CSEFI) injection system, commonly called spyder injection. The fuel pressure regulator is mounted on the fuel metering block which is housed just behind the throttle body. If you remove the air intake duct you'll be able to find it by following the fuel rail, it's the rectangled block that the full rail and the injector harness plug into covered mostly by the top plenum (The plastic part of the intake). You have to take the top plentum off in order to get the fuel metering block out. The regulator is mounted on the end of the fuel metering block. It uses the pressure inside the intake to control it (there are no vacum lines running to it like an external fuel pressure regulator).
If you plan on doing it yourself, slow down and pay close attention. The plastic fuel lines leading to the poppet valves will be brittle so handle with care or the fuel pressure valve won't be the only thing you have to replace.
A Haynes manual is a big help in a situation like this.
