Default fuel pressure sensor

Hey I have a 2000 Blazer S10. I know where the fuel pressure switch is, but dont know how to replace it. Does the tank have to be dropped:

if u got smaller hands you might be able to get the sensor off without removal of the take. I was able to on my silverado. I know its a different vehicle but still might be possible.
