Default fuel pump

I have a 97 blazer. I am replacing the fuel pump and the pump I bought online has a new harness. It has a purple wire, grey, solid black, and black with a white line. On my truck i have purple, grey, and two solid blacks. Can anyone help?

This might help. You should have a black/white wire, though (look again). If not, tag the wires BEFORE cutting off the old connector.

Sure, but the wiring code is the SAME as the truck. No directions needed......... unless you need splicing instructions. Although, I might glance at them to verify that the Manufacturer is indeed correct LMAO!

Instructions are what your wife reads when you're finished with the job and it still doesnt work.

Your existing two black wires should be different gauges.

Connect the larger size black wire to the solid black on the new harness.
Connect the smaller black wire to the blk/wht wire on the harness.

Solder these connections together. Crimping only will lead to future failure.
