not sure if this is the right place to post this so i apologize in advance if it's not..

well my 2000 Blazer 4WD 4DR wouldn't start the other day so we had it towed to the local mechanic and he traced it down to the fuel pump was dead.. so he calls us today and tells us right now at his price the cheapest he can get a replacement for it is $500 CAD..

i already had the fuel pump replaced back when we bought it in '07 and the pump was around $300 CAD.. so this new price seems a little steep to me.. the mechanic said if i can get a cheaper one to do so.. i.ve searched the forums here with no luck on the best place to buy one so i was wondering if someone might be able to help me out and point me in the right direction with a few links or something..

i live in Canada so it would be nice if i could find a cheap one in Canada if possible so that there's no customs charges ect. and i would also prefer the ACDelco brand if possible..

EDIT: also i have a couple of leads on a few scrapped Blazers around here and was wondering what years and models would have the same fuel pump as mine..
