Default Fuel pump ?

So I replaced my fuel pump about a year and a half ago. And ran great, but recently when I let my 2000 ls blazer sit for for more then a day and a half it's hard to start.seems like its losing it's pressure in the line.once it starts and it has a hesatitation when the gas is applied until its been running for a few minutes.but if I start it every day no prob. So my question is do I need to replace the pump again

Do you remember the brand of pump? If it was Airtex, then yes.. a year is doing good for them.

I totally agree about the Airtex pumps but, it's always best to diagnose it first rather than throw parts at it. Check fuel pressure and leakdown, if it fails one or both tests, further diagnosis is necessary to pinpoint the problem. If it passes both tests, the pump is probably not the problem. Key ON, engine OFF, fuel pump running: pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and must remain above 55psi for at least 10 minutes after the pump shuts off.
